Nether Soccer Intramural Winter Academy 2017

Registration closes in 8 days

Nether United is continuing its successful Winter Indoor Academy. The Academy has sessions for Petite players, (ages 3-4 years old who are newer to the sport), also for 4-5 year old players in the Papoose co-ed sessions (these are for the younger players who have played before but are still Pre-K/K), the Mini Division for our 6-7 year olds & the Novice Academy for boys & girls 8-10 years old interested in additional soccer development & fun over the winter months.

Limited to 20 children per age group, all sessions are led by professional youth trainers & will focus on individual technical skills, ending with a fun scrimmage where the little players can show off their new skills.

Our popular and long-running intramural program is now open for Fall Intramural and Summer Pick-up/Street Soccer registration. Please read below to see all the details and some new improvements you should be aware of

A couple helpful tips:

  • Click here to see your player's 'soccer age'. Soccer age is determined by the player's age as of 7/31 of the following year. For Fall 2016, this means your player's age as of 7/31/2017. So when you see divisions for 5-7 year olds, that's current children who are currently 5-6 year olds.

  • For those registering during early registration (July through August 5), will be able to request a carpool request. Those registering during late registration (8/5 - 8/31 will not be able to meet any requests.

Important Intramural information:

  • Make sure to read Nether's Intramural general information here: as it will answer many of your questions, especially new families to the program.

  • Petites - this is for our Club's youngest players who have not played soccer before. All players are between 3-5 years old. This program offers once weekly professionally led training and no weekend games as the youngest players don't benefit from the typical soccer games as they aren't able to grasp the competitive team aspects. We also offer a session for 4-5 year olds called Papoose that offers practice and a Saturday morning game on Saturdays. Please register for Petite if this is your player's first year at soccer and falls within the age groups indicated.
